The Global Customer Success (GCS) organization, an organization within CE&S, is leading the effort to enable customer success on the Microsoft Cloud by harnessing leading, AI-powered capabilities and human expertise to deliver innovation solutions that accelerate business value, drive operational excellence and nurture long term loyalty.
In the Customer Success team, we are looking for people with a passion for delivering customer success and working with Microsoft partners. As an Azure Infrastructure/Security specialized Cloud Solution Architect, you will work with customers enabling them to achieve their desired outcomes, based on their investments in Microsoft technology. Leveraging your technical subject matter expertise, you will lead technical discussions with customers and partners to drive value from these investments, including identifying resolutions to issues blocking customer success projects, and accelerating Azure consumption. • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 7+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
• Fluent in Italian.

• Proven experience in cloud infrastructure.
• The Azure Cloud Solution Architect role requires knowledge and experience in several of the following technologies/areas:
Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) core knowledge:
• Storage
• Network
• Compute
Other technical areas where we look for real world demonstrated ability are:
• Azure Governance / Cloud Adoption Framework, Azure Policy, Management Groups, Governance / Compliance as Code
• ARM JSON or Terraform Templates – (Infrastructure as code) Azure CLI and/or PowerShell
• Strong understanding of Windows and/or Linux Operating Systems
• Working knowledge of On-Premises Infrastructure solutions; AD DS, DNS, Monitoring, Patching
• Security concepts for Cloud Infrastructure and Microsoft Operating Systems
• Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Azure AD Connect knowledge and experience.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and support experience
• Face-to-face customer engagement skills
• Technical Delivery and Customer facing presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences.
• Must have the ability to take on internal initiatives to create services opportunities, and work in a fast-paced environment while balancing multiple demands, addressing shifting priorities, and maintaining focus.
• Troubleshooting knowledge & skills, Microsoft Certifications qualifications desirable
• Architecture design: Apply design thinking methodology to design & implement cloud architectures and solutions that drive value for the customer, incorporating policies, governance, security & compliance, and customer systems into the overall framework.
• Experience in architecting and implementing Azure security features and products as well as architecting and implementing Azure Arc.
• Demonstrated hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and migrating VMware Solutions on Azure, GCP, or AWS, with proven experience in cloud architecture and virtualization technologies.
• Specific technology experience, including- Certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS or GCP technologies
• Experience working on a global, matrixed team.
• Experience working with partners.

Maintain technical skills and knowledge of market trends, opportunities, and competitive insights. Using technical expertise, identify opportunities to develop new solutions and services for customers that drive business results. Identify resolutions to issues blocking go-live of customer success projects. Lead technical conversations with customers to drive value from their MS investments. Deliver all work according to best practices & policies and using repeatable IP.
