As a Test Solutions Engineering NAND manager, you will coordinate a global team responsible for the development, debug and maintenance of test programs that help deliver Micron's world-class NAND portfolio to market. As we continue to navigate shift left and twelve-month cadence initiatives, it is imperative that we find common ground between wafer and component test steps, equipment and flows. You'll lead a team of NAND Probe, Burn, WLR, Test Learning Vehicle test engineers. A successful candidate must possess a growth mindset, demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, and have a strong technical foundation in either test or product development. Success requires close collaboration with partners in Product Engineering, Manufacturing, Yield Enhancement, Global Quality, SIG, and Equipment Engineering teams to deliver the right test solution. Responsibilities

Drive for results

• Define a comprehensive test plan from NPI thru HVM phases; inclusive of capturing inputs from key partners; ensuring test hardware and programs are in place and aligned to project commitments
• Make efficient use of global test network; drive appropriate tasks across the global test team to ensure project progress and team member development
• Work closely with extended manufacturing network to ensure time to market, test time, capacity, and mature yield goals are on-track
• Adhere to Micron's core values and reinforce strong interactions within and outside of immediate team by demonstrating positive and professional behavior
• Participate in resource planning; both from a project management perspective and team performance management perspective

Optimize the network

• Lead worldwide projects, crafting staffing, equipment plans, schedules, and risk mitigation
• Develop a test time roadmap that delivers an efficient overall core solution in production where coverage is driven to the most appropriate socketing
• Actively drive improvement in worldwide test processes in order minimize cost and increase quality
• Influence Design and PE on DFT implementation to lower cost test

Build an elite team

• Lead hiring, training, and career development of NAND Probe, Burn, WLR, Test Learning Vehicle engineers
• Build an environment that fosters team work, innovation, and job fulfillment.
• Develop technical leadership: engineers who understand the device, testing, and testers.
• Measure and communicate team's successes and failures, and develop improvement plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in Test Solutions Engineering
• As a leader in Test Solutions Engineering, you’ll be accountable for developing team member capabilities and skills critical to delivering a successful solution.
• Prior experience in a supervisory/leadership role is highly desired
• Developing array core test solutions requires a strong foundation of multiple disciplines; semiconductor operation, tester platform, design for test architectures, programming and statistics.
• A natural curiosity and strong problem-solving skills are essential to success in this role.

• Dedication to decision-making grounded in strong data analysis
• A strong desire to constantly learn, improve and innovate core testing principles
• Proven track record of technical development and continuous improvement
• Willingness to accommodate global meeting schedule and occasional travel
