THE OPPORTUNITY

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for the analysis and the development of solutions in full autonomy; designs, builds, deploys and maintains tailor-made and/or software packages applications or adapts existing ones. Ensuring applications stability, scalability, performance, security and consistency,  they verify the functional and/or technical quality of developments by implementing and/or executing tests on a wide variety of devices and setups. They work with internal or external business partners to create or redefine functional and/or technical specifications. They also act as a tutor to Software Engineers.

Code is showable, useful, generic, sustainable (ease of maintenance,  scalable, reusable), shareable, elegant (code as essay, "bookish", minimal), pleasurable, efficient, concise, readable.​
Clean code uses writing standards (names (search), functions (short), ...), code patterns (architecture/design at all scale) and practices (testing & refactoring) and uses code discipline (SOLID, DRY, YAGNI, TDD, etc).​
