チームのミッション / 業務内容

チームのミッション・求められる役割

  • バックエンドアーキテクトチームは、エンジニアリング組織とプロダクトの品質や安定性、安全性、スケーラビリティを向上させるために組織横断の課題を技術的に解決しているチームです。メルペイ/メルコインなどのFintech領域のマイクロサービス開発の土台となる、アーキテクチャ設計を担うポジションになります。
  • 開発チームのTech LeadやProduct Managerと連携し、詳細な設計のレビューを行い、全体として一貫性のあるアーキテクチャになるよう設計を推進していきます。また、新しい技術を常に学習して現在の技術スタックに取り込み、それらの仕組みや概念を開発者に取り入れてもらうように普及させていくこともミッションの1つです。SRE, DataPlatform, Securityなどの組織を横断したチームと連携して、それらを導入しやすくする仕組みの開発をリードしていただきます。

具体的な業務内容は下記のとおりです。 

  • ハイレベルなアーキテクチャの設計と指針やベストプラクティスの作成及び実施共有
  • 組織横断で共通の仕組みの共有、導入支援、開発
  • 技術的な課題の調査、解決法の提示、実施、導入支援などの一連のサイクル
  • 技術的なトップリーディング及び組織的な技術レベルのボトムアップ


ユニークなチャレンジ

  • Fintechの事業領域ではマイクロサービスアーキテクチャを採用しており、100を超えるマイクロサービスを50以上のチームが管理しています。それらのマイクロサービスに横断するアーキテクチャ上の課題を特定し、解決することが求められます。決定の影響範囲が大きいため、さまざまなトレードオフについて緻密に分析しなければならないというチャレンジがありますが、システムおよびサービスに大きなインパクトを与えることができます。
  • お客さまの資産を預かるという性質から高いセキュリティレベルを実現することが求められます。また、IT統制や法令遵守の観点からもさまざまな要件が存在します。多くの必須要件を満たさなければならない中で、より良いお客さまの体験と開発生産性の向上を追求し、アーキテクチャをアップデートし続けます。

必須条件

  • メルカリグループおよび各カンパニーのミッションとバリューに共感していただける方
  • バックエンドもしくはインフラ技術領域での開発及び運用した経験
  • RDBMSやNoSQLを利用したデータモデル設計の実施経験
  • TCP/IP、HTTPなどのネットワークプロトコルについての知識を用いた経験
  • システムの技術的問題（例：パフォーマンス低下）の原因を発見、解決した経験
  • 自ら技術的な問題を発見して組織を横断した課題を解決した経験

歓迎条件

  • GCPやAWSを用いたクラウドにおける開発経験
  • DockerやKubernetes等のコンテナ技術を利用したシステムの開発経験
  • マイクロサービスアーキテクチャに基づいたソフトウェア開発及び運用経験
  • 認証認可に基づいたセキュアなシステムの設計経験
  • DesignDocやADRを使って技術的な意思決定を行った経験

技術課題のポイント

  • 技術課題で作成したコードをメルペイ/メルコインが開発しているプロダクトに導入できる品質かどうかを中心にレビューを行っています。また、チーム開発を前提としているためコードだけではなくドキュメンテーションなど、実際の開発時と同水準でのレビューを心掛けています。
