In this exciting role as Software Engineer, you will contribute to designing, developing, innovating and delivering products that change lives. Lung Health is part of the Surgical Innovations Operating Unit focusing on diagnosing and treating lung cancer using minimally invasive approaches.
As part of our mission to change lung cancer treatment, we work on innovative technologies in our R&D group based in Israel and the US.

A Day in the Life and Responsibilities
We’re looking for a passionate Full-stack Software Engineer to join our team to develop medical devices for Lung Health.
- The software engineer is primarily responsible for designing, implementing and testing the new software requirement.
- You will be expected to provide design inputs, evaluate potential design risks and provide solutions to mitigate them, analyze defects in the application, debug, fix, suggest improvements to prevent future issues, and contribute to the system's verification and validation.
- Following software application development procedures and demonstrating compliance through technical documentation generation
- Ensures appropriate documentation is created and maintained
- Active participation in evaluating new technology, products and applications and their impact on the business. Performs research and evaluates new ideas & technologies
- You will be encouraged to be innovative, collaborate with others, and solve difficult software problems
- Work with SCRUM methodology and closely collaborate with other functions (UX, algorithms, Testers and Quality).
You will be part of creating a medical device, developing the UI, flow and logic, using .Net Framework, C#, WPF on a windows desktop environment.
A web application is planned for the future versions.
Must Have: Minimum qualifications
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of practical experience in software development with object-oriented programming
- Self-learning capabilities
Nice to Have
- UI development skills using WPF
