Medius is a leading provider of cloud-based spend management solutions. Spend management doesn’t ring a bell? This term describes the process from placing an order through its delivery, verification, invoicing to its payment. Our products help companies at every step of the purchasing process, increasing their security and speeding it up. We use latest advances in artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to automatically capture and process invoices.

Machine Learning Engineer (AI)

What will you do?

• Play a crucial role in our AI team, focusing on innovative machine learning technologies, including LLMs and deep learning models
• Design, develop, and optimize machine learning models to improve performance and meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Train machine learning models, evaluate their performance, and fine-tune them for optimal results
• Develop, maintain, and automate ML pipelines for efficient workflows, model training, and deployment
• Ensure the scalability of machine learning infrastructure and processes to handle increasing volumes of data and complexity of models
• Research and implement new AI/ML techniques, including deep learning and neural networks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate machine learning-based features into our services

What kind of experience should you have?

• A degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Data Science, or equivalent experience and technical training
• Experience in developing, training, and optimizing machine learning models
• Proficiency in Python programming and familiarity with ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch or similar
• Experience in applying ML in cloud environments and online learning workflows
• Experience in MLOps, including automating and scaling ML pipelines, and experiment tracking
• Familiarity with advanced AI/ML techniques, including deep learning and neural networks
• Experience in data analysis, feature engineering, and data preprocessing
• Experience in working with LLM-based applications and use cases, such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and autonomous agents
• Proficiency in English (B2 or above)

Nice to have

• Experience in LLM fine-tuning and working with LLM-based libraries such as LangChain, Semantic Kernel or similar
• Experience in Azure-based AI services such as Azure AI Search, AI Studio, Bot Framework and similar
• Experience with Databricks (data processing)
