Job Title: Software Quality Assurance Lead

Work location: Irving, TX / Alpharetta, GA / The Woodlands, TX / Richmond, VA / Columbus, OH

Current Need:

The QA Lead will be instrumental in defining and implementing QA strategies and practices that align with business objectives, leveraging a technology stack including Java, SQL, Snowflake, SAP, and Looker. We seek a visionary leader with robust technical expertise and a reporting and analytics background to supervise our quality assurance procedures, guaranteeing the excellence of our software products.

Position Description

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with organizational objectives, leveraging expertise in Java, SQL, Snowflake, SAP, and Looker.
  • Lead the planning, design, and execution of test cases, scenarios, and scripts to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.
  • Drive the implementation and maintenance of test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium and Appium, to enhance efficiency and test coverage.
  • Establish defect tracking processes, prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution and reporting, with a focus on reporting and analytics data accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and timely issue resolution, integrating reporting and analytics insights.
  • Define and track key quality metrics, generate QA reports, and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to QA team members, fostering skill development and growth, with an emphasis on reporting and analytics testing techniques.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and quality issues early in the development lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience defining and implementing QA strategies aligned with business objectives, utilizing Java, SQL, Snowflake, SAP, and Looker, with demonstrated leadership in reporting and analytics for ensuring software product excellence.

Critical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices, with a background in reporting and analytics.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools, particularly in reporting and analytics contexts.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively, particularly in reporting and analytics-driven projects.
  • Proven leadership abilities, with the capability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum or Kanban.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of and experience in the Healthcare industry is a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with respect to documentation.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication competency.
  • Excellent critical thinking and diagnostic aptitude.
  • High capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Exhibit a strong sense of urgency and ownership for task/project completion.
  • Strong leadership skills that inspire team confidence and respect while motivating team members
  • in a creative and effective manner.
  • Experience in managing and working with distributed team members.
  • Desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality
  • and reliability.

Education

  • 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered. 

Our Base Pay Range for this position

$105,500 - $175,900
