Senior Data Analyst & Visualisation-1

The Market and Localization department - part of TECH organization - is looking for a Data Analyst to provide Market stakeholders with the necessary data insights & reporting about various TECH support functions – like Operations and Customer Support – to meet applicable Regulatory obligations, Risk monitoring or specific Market/Customer agreements. The ideal candidate is passionate about data insights to drive improvements and customer satisfaction, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset. 2 x L7s focusing on building/documenting the reporting solution with BI tool based on requirements provided by PMT

Role
In this support position, you will:
• Partner with Program Manager Technical (PMT) to understand the reporting needs and business requirements behind them.
• In collaboration with PMT, various Data Owners and existing Center of Expertise, based on identified reporting requirements, support feasibility and data quality assessment & confirm technical approach for data pipeline (ETL)/Business Intelligence tool to be used
• Develop the required report/dashboard & validate results with stakeholders.
• Prepare the documentation required to launch the reports (i.e. document technical solution, user guides, dashboard id card,..) according to best practices and governance model.
• Take responsibility for delivering according to established plan.
• Participate to demo/training of the reporting solutions with stakedholders.

The ideal candidate for this position should:
• Have strong analytical and solution oriented mindset with a constant focus on data quality & accuracy,
• Know how to “make the data speak”,
• Have strong experience in elaborating and building insightful dashboards/metrics/KPIs that are automatically refreshed using standard Mastercard reporting tools like Domo, Tableau, MSBI, Cubes, Enterprise Reporting, …
• Have experience in data enrichment to build necessary measures by combining various sources of information (Splunk, Remedy, Service Cloud, Data Warehouse, ….)
• Be a strong, confident, and exacting writer and speaker, able to document solutions and inform/train wide variety of stakeholders,
• Have very good organization skills to get things done and navigate through the various duties,

The following would be additional assets
• Have experience in standardization to ensure delivery of scalable solutions,
• Have knowledge of Mastercard organization, standards tools and various Mastercard products (primarily core switching, settlement, authentication services)
• Have experience in identifying trends in data to introduce more proactivity (potentially leveraging AI)
