Overview
Targeting Analytics (TA) is a program in Data, Insights and and Analytics within Data & Services. TA leverages transaction data, 3rd party data and big data analytics/technologies to create actionable solutions/insights and manages a rich set of products that serves Financial, non-Financial and Credit Risk areas. Some of the products are Portfolio Optimizer (PO), Acquirer Optimizer (AO), Customer Data Enhancement (CDE), Ad Insights and Small Business Credit Analytics (SBCA). We are looking for a Senior Analyst to work across product lines and support the Data Operations using strong programming and analytical skills. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about Analytics and AI, highly motivated, intellectually curious, and possesses strong programming and problem-solving skills.

Role
• Develop high quality efficient and scalable code modules utilizing advanced Python skills.
• Extract, manipulate and aggregate big data efficiently from Hadoop/hdfs to support ad-hoc requests and POCs.
• Leverage knowledge of big data technologies and frameworks such as Hadoop, Spark to handle large-scale data processing tasks efficiently.
• Identify improvements in existing code modules and suggest optimization for performance and scalability.
• Employ strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify patterns, trends, and develop innovative solutions to analytical challenges.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, data engineers, application developers and data scientists.

All about you
• Strong Proficiency in using Python, Spark, Hadoop platform & related tools
• Programming experience in creating production ready code modules.
• Experience in using Hive, Impala, SQL, Data Frames, PySpark and Spark SQL
• Eager to learn new technologies and frameworks.
• Passion for analytical / quantitative problem solving.
• Strong collaboration skills working across multiple teams and geographies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with great attention to detail
• Ability to manage, prioritize and perform multiple tasks.

Following are a PLUS:
• Experience in using git/bitbucket, confluence.
• Exposure to NiFi, UDAP, Tableau
• Familiarity with cloud technologies AWS, Snowflake, Databricks.
