Overview
Data Platforms and Engineering Services ingests and processes Mastercard transaction datasets which is consumed by multiple internal teams for reporting, compliance and analytics purpose. These datasets are processed on an internal platform build primarily on Nifi, Spark, MINIO/ Ceph for storage and Java framework. The candidate would be responsible for managing this internal platform which is used by multiple teams across Mastercard.

Role
• Own and manage the data ingestion platform and collaborate with multiple teams who utilise the platform
• Participate in architectural discussions , iteration planning, and feature sizing meetings
• Prepare and own the enhancements for the data ingestion platform and should be well-versed with the multiple use cases the platform serves
• Adhere to Agile processes and participate actively in agile ceremonies
• Stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams

All About You
•Experience in managing development/engineering teams in a global environment
•Understanding of SDLC and experience in establishing processes, standards and governance to bring efficiency within development team
•Experience in Java development, APIs, micro services.
•Experience with CI / CD tools like Chef/ Jenkins
•Experience with event driven systems preferable(Apache Kafka, NATS, etc)
•Experience in Nifi is preferable
•Experience in AGILE methodology
•Experience in working in global teams
