Role : Software Engineer- Simulation

Job Responsibilities:

·       Develop, test, and maintain Python applications and scripts to support various business processes and operations.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts, to gather requirements and implement solutions.

·       Design and implement data pipelines, data processing, and data analysis tools using Python and relevant frameworks.

·       Optimize and maintain existing Python code to improve performance, reliability, and scalability.

·       Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues reported by end-users.

·       Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and best practices in Python development.

·       Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards.

·       Work on projects related to automation, data analysis, and process improvement.

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

·       Proven experience as a Python developer, with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.

·       Proficiency in Python and its popular libraries and frameworks, such as Django, Flask, Pandas, NumPy, and others.

·       Experience with database systems, such as SQL and NoSQL databases, and the ability to write efficient database queries.

·       Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

·       Knowledge of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git), unit testing, and continuous integration.

·       Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

·       Understanding of RESTful API design and development.

·       Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

·       Experience in the logistics or shipping industry is a plus but not required.
