Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

What YOU will do at Luma Health

• We’re looking for a dynamic engineer who will collaborate with engineering pods supporting deployment and troubleshooting. You will observe and improve performance and experience for our customers. The Site reliability engineering team drives automation and structural improvements that integrate our systems. As part of the engineering team, you will be a go to resource to the teams you will resolve production problems across a wide variety of technologies such as networks, databases, cloud deployments and others.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of Systems/Applications automation in 24x7 Production Services environments
• Fluency with one or more current generation scripting language 
• Comfortable with Databases  MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Work with teams to design and implement automated code deployment solutions
• Experienced working in an environment that applies Infrastructure-as-code principles
• Advanced in Scaling, monitoring and protecting the database
• Experienced with Infrastructure-as-code processes (via Terraform, CloudFormation, etc)
• Strong working knowledge of Linux and Kubernetes
• Build out policies and procedures to ensure system reliability
• A collaborative mindset backed by excellent communication skills and a desire to help us make great decisions in an empathetic and respectful way
• Ability to work in PST timezone ; PST time zone candidates encouraged to apply 

What You Will Need To Be Successful

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience 
• 5+ years' experience in a, SRE, Software Engineer role
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with product and development teams 
• Demonstrated ability to context switch while still delivering on commitments 
• Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and environments 
• Knowledge of full stack monitoring concepts and tooling from code to system resources
