Our organization is looking for an experienced Java/SQL Developer for a (1-3) years contract position in Remote.

*Required Experience Level:*
- Java
- Spring Framework as a comprehensive programming and configuration model
- SQL
- HTML/JavaScript/CSS
- Basic LINUX usage (navigating, reading files, sudo commands)

*Software Knowledge:*
- Rational Application Developer
- SQL Developer / SQL Plus
- PuTTY / WinSCP
- WebSphere
- Subversion
- Cloud Platform Development
- Event streaming platforms used to collect, process, store, and integrate data at scale. (such as Kafka)
- Working knowledge of control-M jobs / POB system, as well as the basics of as AFT system
- Microservices design
Skills in: DevSecOps, Secure Coding practices, and the Solutions Development Framework (Docker, Jenkins, GitLab)

*Functional Knowledge (one of more of the following):*
- Knowledge/experience with Agile Methodologies
- Knowledge/experience of SDLC practices
- Change Management and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc.)
- Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)
- API Tools, working, and best practices
- Security
- Performance tuning

*o A minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years’ relevant experience.*
o A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field then four additional years of related experience is required.
o Typically performs all functional duties independently.
o Note: Special credentials (licenses and/or certifications) may be required at the Task Order level on a case-specific basis.
