Our team is growing and we are looking for a Staff IT Business Systems Engineer who can address information technology needs as we scale. We need you to be proactive, approachable, and capable of managing projects from conception to completion. This is a wonderful opportunity to lay the foundation, build the framework for our business systems to run efficiently and scale as we grow.

While effective onsite collaborations at our San Jose Office are welcomed, this role can be fully remote if preferred. 

 

Areas for Responsibility 

  • Be the inhouse expert in integration of Enterprise SaaS systems across the business.
  • Design and implement automation to scale business processes by applying technical solutions to achieve business objectives. 
  • Perform project/requirements analysis and development tasks of increasingly complex nature which may require extensive research and analysis.
  • Collaborate with business users and IT to understand requirements and develop integration flows/solutions according to business needs. 
  • Supports code deployments and configuration changes to production and non- production systems, following established procedures
  • Take ownership of business automation - Identify potential areas of efficiency and build robust scalable automations.
    Analyze integration requirements and perform gap analysis; craft and manage technical design documents
  • Manage, monitor, troubleshoot, and support existing integrations, handle data management and governance policies, be excellent in internal communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer science, Information systems or related discipline, or equivalent and extensive related project experience. 
  • Seasoned in delivery of complex IT projects delivering solutions in Enterprise Saas Business with a focus on driving business value.
  • 4 years of experience with any one of the SaaS integration platforms such as Mulesoft/Workato/Boomi required. 
  • Must have experience in QTC integration - integration of Salesforce, Netsuite, Zendesk, Xactly, Jira, Adaptive etc. 
  • Strong experience in the Employee Life cycle highly desired -  Workday , Okta, Okta workflows. 
  • Proven experience and coding/scripting skills in Java or Python.
  • Strong background in API security, Identity management, SAML, SCIM and Oauth/OpenId technologies.
  • Strong hands-on experience in designing and maintaining REST and SOAP APIs, microservices, creating custom API integrations as needed.  
  • Some ETL/ELT and Reverse ETL/DBT tools experience is a big plus. 
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to partner with business analysts, developers and external vendor SMEs to effectively implement automation roadmap. 
  • Business Acumen - Aptitude to understand the business drivers and not just the technical needs of a project, ability to develop for scalability and performance as the business grows. 
  • Strong system and data knowledge; ability to learn and adapt to learn new technologies on the job. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business problems in technical solutions.

Comp: Salary Range: $135,000 - $160,000 USD Annually + Bonus + Equity + Benefits (including health, dental, wellness reimbursement, BetterUp coaching/learning programs, and more). 

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education/training, and skill level.
