As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Required Technical and Professional Experience

Responsibilities

Sound Understanding of Virtualization technology

Manage large scale of enterprise environment of VMware product deployments.

Hands on experience on VMware 6.X, 7.X

Experience in P2V, VMotion and VMware virtual center

Good hands-on command line of ESX

Good hands-on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server

Good understanding of HA and DRS environment

Experience in performance tuning of VMware servers and

Managing and troubleshoot of ESXi servers

Administration & Management of Virtual machines, clusters with HA and DRS enabled

Monitoring and configuring capacity issues in VMware env.

Installing and configuring ESXi servers

configuring and storage - VMFS5, VMFS3, NFS, RDM

Configuring and troubleshooting vMotion, Storage vMotion

VC access and authentical control including roles and permission

creating and managing snapshot

creating and managing host profiles and storage profiles

creating and managing Affinity rules

deploying and configuring Update Manager

Configuring and management of Alarms

Creating and deploying OVF, Template and clones

Profile

• 6+ Years of Experience
• Strong Understanding of Virtualization technology
• Manage large scale of enterprise environment of VMware product deployments.
• Hands on experience on VMware 6.X, 7.X
• Experience in P2V, VMotion and VMware virtual center
• Good hands-on command line of ESX
• Good hands-on Experience in diagnostics & troubleshooting of ESX server
• Good understanding of HA and DRS environment
• Experience in performance tuning of VMware servers and
• Managing and troubleshoot of ESXi servers
• Administration & Management of Virtual machines, clusters with HA and DRS enabled
• Monitoring and configuring capacity issues in VMware env.

• Knowledge on networking concepts.
• Good to have experience in shell/perl/python script

Process:

• Must have good knowledge on Incident management, Change management, ITIL Frame Work.
• Vendor Management and Datacenter operations
• Contribute to document and review standards and operational procedures.
• Enforce technical and security standards for VMWARE & Hardware infrastructures and services.
• Fine tune or automate repetitive process.
• Follow internal processes at all time (ITIL, time tracking, escalation).
• Work closely with peers worldwide by taking part in periodic meetings and sharing knowledge.
• Handle system upgrades and migrations, in accordance with latest technology trends and SG global standards."

Hardware:

• Must have excellent knowledge in HP C7000 Enclosures, BL Gen8, Gen9 etc, Dell Poweredge series & Rack Servers.
• Must have Good troubleshooting skills in above products
• Good Experience in DELL/HPE case logging, access management for field engineer, collaboration with Datacenter engineer.
• Good knowledge on HP ILO AMPLIFIER Pack, DELL OME, HP Oneview, Virtual Connect.
• Good troubleshooting skills on Blade and rack servers, Enclosure and its components.
• Knowledge of HPE Moonshot system series.
• Good Experience in Upgrading and patching hardware firmware and drivers
• Good Experience in Hardware replacement
• Experience of Data Center operations
• Knowledge of centralized hardware monitoring tools.
• Solid experience on VMware Infra, ESXi, Microsoft Windows and RHEL OS
