As a Software Engineering - Developer at Kyndryl, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge software solutions. Your work will play a critical role in our business offering, your code will deliver value to our customers faster than ever before, and your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be critical in ensuring the success of our products.

Using design documentation and functional programming specifications, you will be responsible for implementing identified components. You will ensure that implemented components are appropriately documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration into the final product. You will have the opportunity to architect the solution, test the code, and deploy and build a CI/CD pipeline for it.

As a valued member of our team, you will provide work estimates for assigned development work, and guide features, functional objectives, or technologies being built for interested parties. Your contributions will have a significant impact on our products' success, and you will be part of a team that is passionate about innovation, creativity, and excellence. Key Responsibilities: -

Minimum 6+years of experience required.

1. Software Development:

   - Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable software solutions using Java and/or Golang.

   - Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.

   - Collaborate with architects and other team members to design and implement software components and modules.

   - Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to design specifications.

2. Application Architecture:

   - Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the design of software systems and components.

   - Identify opportunities to improve system architecture, performance, and scalability using Java and/or Golang.

   - Implement design patterns and architectural principles to build robust and scalable applications.

3. Testing and Quality Assurance:

   - Develop unit tests, integration tests, and automated test suites to ensure the reliability and correctness of software applications.

   - Perform code debugging, troubleshooting, and optimization to identify and resolve issues.

   - Conduct performance testing and tuning to optimize application performance and resource utilization.

4. Collaboration and Communication:

   - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

   - Communicate effectively with team members to provide updates, share insights, and coordinate development efforts.

   - Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and progress.

5. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

   - Document software design, implementation details, and technical specifications for future reference and knowledge sharing.

   - Share knowledge and best practices with team members through code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring.

   - Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Java and Golang development.

Qualifications and Skills -

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Proven experience in software development using Java and/or GoLang, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

- Proficiency in developing and debugging Java applications using frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Jakarta EE.

- Experience with GoLang development, including concurrency, channels, and Goroutines.

- Familiarity with RESTful web services, microservices architecture, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose effective solutions.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and agile methodologies is a plus.
