About the role:
We’re hiring a Software Engineer, Vendor Integrations to join our high-impact crew. This role is a great fit for a detail-oriented individual contributor who understands how important it is to troubleshoot effectively and keep things running smoothly to support our customers’ needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Playing a critical and versatile role in shipping key aspects of our integrations with vendors
- Being an integral part of building engineering, product, and company roadmaps
- Co-owing the delivery of a product that transforms the construction industry
- Processing and surfacing pricing and availability information that enable our customers to keep their projects on-time and under budget
- Innovating and architecting the pipelines which millions of dollars worth of orders rely on to get fulfilled
- Frequent communication and collaboration with our vendor partners to establish connections, standards, and onboarding of new customers
About you:
- Proven track record of shipping quality software (3+ years professional experience preferred)
- Deep experience working with React, Typescript, GraphQL/REST, Node, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL or similar tech stack
- Comfortable with AWS technologies, such as RDS, EC2, S3, SQS, Beanstalk, Lambda, and other common services
- Inside knowledge of HTTP, FTP, WebSockets, or other networking protocols
- B.S. in CS or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Bonus: Experience integrating with third-party APIs, working with ERP or construction software, and/or familiarity with Datadog, Sentry, or other application/platform monitoring systems
- Extra Bonus: Any experience or familiarity with EDI X12 transactions

This role is entirely remote for candidates based in the United States, Canada, and Latin America. We expect the person in this role to work EST business hours. The salary range for this role is between $80,000 USD and $180,000 USD. See details about compensation ranges below.
