DevOps Engineer

Deploy and support the delivery of enterprise software solutions, digital intelligence (monitoring and observability), and cloud platforms through continuous integration, continuous testing, continuous delivery, and configuration management. Design, code, and test systems with a long-term mindset of maintainability. Adhere to technical standards and participate in standards evolution. Participate in the KeyBank Agile project life-cycle and contribute within an Agile environment working with user stories, iterative development, continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous feedback, etc. Understand the importance of teamwork and coordinated activities and demonstrate effective communication at the team level.

Top Responsibilities:

• Work with the technical organization at large to understand its CI/CD and release management needs and be able to transform that understanding into solution requirements.
• Mentor junior members in continuous integration and continuous delivery concepts.
• Participate in cross-functional design and troubleshooting activities at a departmental level.
• Learn, design, and code in at least one development language and integrate multiple tools through their APIs, command line interfaces, etc.
• Design, code, and test systems with a long-term mindset of maintainability.
• Adhere to technical standards and participate in standards evolution.
• Adhere to technical standards and participate in standards evolution.
• Understand the importance of teamwork and coordinated activities.
• Contribute to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork
• Review requirements and other technical documentation

Required Skill

• Working knowledge of continuous integration, continuous delivery, continuous testing, and configuration management methodologies.
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Thorough knowledge of common DevOps technologies.
• Thorough knowledge of command-line tools in Windows and Linux environments.
• Thorough knowledge of APM and telemetry tools such as Dynatrace, Elastic, etc.
• Demonstrate effective communications skills at the team and departmental levels.
• Working knowledge of analytical thinking concepts and techniques.
• 3+ years of experience with utilizing Google Cloud Components
• 2+ years of experience with Terraform
• 2+ years of RedHat Ansible
• 2+ years of supporting and assisting development teams with CI/CD Pipelines
• 1+ years of CloudSQL
• Experience with migrating teams from internal systems to cloud components
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, other related field, or equivalent work experience
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication
• Strong presentation skills
• Ability to facilitate cross functional meetings to accomplish objectives or resolve issues
• Ability to meet deadlines and ensure others meet deadlines with minimal oversight

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $60,000 to $92,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
