Job Summary:
We have an open position in the QA team at our Datto Denmark Development office. Our group in Denmark develops multiple products and you will be working on 2 of the products– Datto Workplace and Datto File protection. You will be the main QA automation engineer responsible for designing, writing executing and maintaining the automation for our products.
A Look Inside the Job:
· Design, Write and execute automated tests by creating scripts to run during regression, analyse failures and report issues
· Drive and maintain the automation framework/s
· Analyse the application and suggest areas for automation and improvements to maximise test coverage (security, performance, functionality)
· Assist manual QA in validation and test case execution when needed
· Investigate, create, and retest bug reports while following our agreed processes
· Ensure that team’ goals and deadlines are met
About You:
· 2+ years of experience as a QA Engineer, with proven technical skills
· Experience testing complex applications, not just simple websites/microsites
· API, network and security testing
· Knowledge of CI/CD tools, JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr
· Knowledge of Selenium or similar test automation frameworks
· Experience writing scripts and QA automation in Python or Java
· Good understanding of SDLC and QA best practices
· Good understanding of Windows, configuration, setup from both a support perspective and as a user
· Interest in investigating complex issues, understanding technology, and a drive to dig deeper to fully understand issues
Education:
· Bachelor degree or equivalent professional experience
· Windows certifications is an added advantage
