As a DevOps Engineer at Kaseya - IT Glue you will help design and operate a deployment system for software across all our core product lines. Your goal is to automate everything using best-of-breed tools or techniques and configurations.
You鈥檒l work closely with Software Development, Quality Engineering, and technical operations teams as you monitor and analyze the efficacy of our CI and deployment process and strive for continuous improvement and innovation. Using an Agile/Scrum methodology, you discuss requirements, propose solutions, accurately estimate your work, and then collaborate with others through the entire lifecycle.
Senior DevOps Engineer
- 5+ years of practical Devops experience
- Cloud architecture experience:
- Design and upgrade our systems
- Experience with zero or limited downtime upgrades (e.g., databases).
- Experience using metrics to improve performance and stability
- Docker, Kubernetes and Architecture experience
MID DevOps Engineer
- 3-5 years devops experience
- Focus on details:
- can understand the task and follow direction
- can methodically review logs/metrics to find an issue
- Interest in learning
- Willingness to ask questions
Responsibilities:
- Develop an automated, secure and scalable delivery pipeline
- Work with Agile teams to streamline the development process
- Propose solutions to improve existing processes
- Assure teams have supporting infrastructure for entire lifecycle from design to release
- Handle product releases (automated and manual) over all environments
Specific Requirements:
- Record of developing high-quality deployment pipelines that has scaled to support large development and test teams (Git/GitHub, Jenkins, etc.)
- Scripting and or development experience with Linux Shell Scripting and Python
- Excellent technical background with Linux distributions
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Cloud relational DB Administration and NoSQL DB Administration
- Cloud Monitoring & Logging
- Experience with CI and building automation processes and pipelines
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and respective tools (Terraform, Cloudformation, Ansible, Puppet, Sceptre etc.)
- Experience deploying and running scalable SaaS-based applications in the Public Cloud (AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform)
- Solid record of not only implementing but also effectively communicating with stakeholders to guide others through change
Desired skills:
- Experience with Continuous Deployment (CD) leveraging Kanban release processes
- Experience monitoring, tuning and scaling high performance databases
- Experience with AWS (RDS, ELK, EC2, CloudWatch, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM etc.)
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with the Ruby on Rails or Python or Node.js
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Experience with Networking (e.g. DNS, Route53, Cloudfront, etc.)
- Experience with Elasticsearch, Jenkins, Redis
- Experience with Security Tools\Testing and Sceptre
