We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, automation, and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle.
The Lead DevOps Engineer will be responsible for leading the development, implementation and management of our DevOps infrastructure and processes, as well as releasing new product versions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of DevOps strategies, processes and best practices.
- Manage and maintain the build and deployment pipelines using TeamCity and Octopus.
- Automate deployment processes using PowerShell and Linux Shell Scripting.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation, testing, and deployment.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of the DevOps infrastructure.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure efficient and effective deployment processes.
- Release new product versions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Mentor and guide junior DevOps engineers.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and tools in the DevOps space.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps or related role.
- Strong experience with TeamCity, Octopus, or equivalent CI/CD tooling.
- Strong experience with PowerShell, Linux Shell Scripting and Python.
- Experience with building and deploying .NET Framework based applications
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proven experience in releasing new product versions.
- Proven experience in leading a team of DevOps engineers.
