Job Profile:

The Tech Lead is responsible for providing Remote IT Services to customers through Managed Services Operation Centre under ITIL Framework, monitoring and management of Kaseya Cloud SaaS production environments & internal servers. You will be working as part of a global engineering team and will contribute the following
 
Responsibilities:
  • Support and maintain Kaseya’s globally distributed SaaS infrastructure
  • Manage and monitor VMs running in a hybrid virtualization environment (Hyper-V,
    VMWare, Amazon EC2 and Azure)
  • Own the process for releasing builds into Staging and Production
  • Own the process for releasing software to customers, including patches, maintenance
    releases, etc.
  • Help implement policies around hardware and OS level upgrades
  • Enhance and support our global infrastructure and Cloud software monitoring solutions
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with R&D, Customer Success, Support and
    Operations teams
  • Resolve hardware, operational, infrastructure, performance and application incidents
  • Provide preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and quickly resolve problems to ensure
    infrastructure and application stability
  • Participate in design, lifecycle management and ownership of platforms, applications and
    infrastructure services
  • Provision new servers as required to anticipate production server capacity requirements
  • Participate in weekly maintenance and on-call duties which may require off hours work
  • Develop and enhance service documentation
  • Demonstrate ability to manage several concurrent projects involving multiple stakeholders
    executing in a matrix environment.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work
    experience
  • 4+ years of experience with server-side scripting automation
  • Windows Administration experience (Active Directory, IIS, Disk management, Windows
    Patching, Performance)
  • 4+ years real-world experience with IAAS platform technologies such as Azure, AWS, or
    Google
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a distributed team environment.
  • Documentation skills for processes and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Strong fault analysis/determination and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to work in Rotational shifts in a 24/7/365 environment and available for afterhours
    support
  • Basic computer and network security skills, particularly in Windows environments
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Scripting in PowerShell, bash and python environments
  • Experience with backup scripting and technologies
  • Docker, NGINX and microservices a huge plus
  • Networking with firewalls and in the cloud
  • Experience with design and configuration of monitoring templates, triggers and alerts
  • Experience with Kaseya’s Products (VSA, AuthAnvil, Traverse, 365 Command)
  • Experience with supporting SQL Databases
  • Experience with Salt, Ansible, or Puppet as well as Kaseya’s own VSA technology
