Let's start with the role

We are looking for a Process Automation Engineer to join our Operational Excellence team and drive Continuous Improvement for Kaizen.

You will work as part of a new Automations team that discovers and removes non value adding steps and issues from operational processes.

Besides collaborating with the other members of the agile team, you’ll work closely with the OpEx Leading team that sets the automation priorities based on data-proof performance criteria and Company needs. 

Equally important, you will aid your fellow software engineers on developing their skills and fostering a culture of open communication and support.

As a Process Automation Engineer you will be responsible for:

 

  • Development: Writing and maintaining automation scripts, coding new processes, and enhancing existing ones to improve efficiency and streamline workflows
  • Monitoring: Keeping an eye on automated processes and systems to ensure they are running smoothly and identifying any potential issues or bottlenecks
  • Issue Resolution: Promptly addressing and resolving any technical glitches, errors, or challenges that arise during the automation process to minimize disruptions and maintain operational continuity

 

Your day-to-day will include:

 

  • Morning stand-up meeting with the team to discuss progress and priorities
  • Prioritization and resolution of issues or challenges that come up
  • Dive into development tasks - coding new scripts and enhancing existing ones
  • Communication with stakeholders with regards to functionality and testing
  • Collaboration with other engineers for code reviewing and issues resolution
  • Alignment with PO and Manager if planned/requested
  • Ongoing monitoring and ownership over own automations health (via set channels of alerting and communication)

 

What you’ll bring

 

  • 2+ years of coding experience in Javascript, ideally as a JavaScript Engineer
  • Experience/understanding of API integrations can be a strong asset
  • Experience/understanding in process automation and utilizations of browser automation tools such as Puppeteer, can be considered a plus
  • Previous experience in one or more leading RPA platforms will be considered a plus in terms of extra ways of practically applying process automation mindset
  • Diploma in Engineering,Computer Science or related field required - A Master in related fields will be considered a plus
  • Analytical & Problem solving skills: being a critical thinker to develop practical solutions for complex automation processes
  • Team and communication  skills
  • Experience or familiarity with gaming business processes and domain-specific knowledge is considered a strong asset
