As a Software Engineer, you will be part of our international web development team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with various business units to contribute to the implementation of web applications used by over 100 million customers in 28 countries. Your tasks will include designing intuitive user interactions for our customer service team and store employees.

WHAT YOUR NEXT JOB WILL BE ABOUT 

You will work in an agile Scrum team of experienced and motivated developers, closely collaborating with our Java team as well. We offer space for planning and developing features and encourage a lively exchange of best practices.

• Development and maintenance of the frontend for JYSK web applications
• Write efficient and maintainable code using best practices and design patterns
• Collaborate with backend developers for frontend integration
• Maintenance and optimization of our existing applications
• Staying up to date on latest React and Frontend related technologies and contributing innovative ideas to enhance our solutions
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring within the development team to constantly improve your own skills and those of your colleagues

WHAT SHOULD YOU BRING 

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in web development
• Proficient with React and preferably TypeScript
• Ideally experienced with Java
• Can participate in breaking down large and complex features into smaller tasks
• Curiosity and willingness to stay up-to-date with technologies and learn new things
• Good English skills
