Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• Experience: 2+ years in platform and system software development.
• Skills:
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities for robust and high-performance software development.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming, system design, data structures, and debugging.
  • Familiarity with device drivers, system bring-up, and FreeBSD/Linux internals.
  • In-depth understanding of Enterprise Switching platforms, including software, hardware, and system-level design.
  • Knowledge of:
    • CPU (x86/ARM) architecture.
    • System peripherals and drivers: Interconnects, FPGA/CPLD, and storage devices.
    • Packet forwarding using network processors, PHYs, and SerDes.
    • Ethernet interfaces (ranging from 10M to 100G, MultiGiG), MACSec, timing, and optics.
    • Chassis management, Power over Ethernet (PoE), stacking, and telemetry.
