About the Internship:

Summer internship lasts 3 months: 1.07.24-30.09.24 and you’ll be with us part-time – 35h/week. Candidates must be based in Poland upon the start date of this internship and for its duration.

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Validation and Development Engineering Summer Intern to join the Visual Solutions team. Visual Solutions is a concept of full-stack software for video and picture production, processing and transmitting. This internship opportunity provides hands-on experience with work on real-world projects at every step of their lifecycle: from development, validation, automatization and CI/CD, allowing you enhance your skills in multiple areas. As a Visual Solutions Summer Intern, you will work closely with our experienced engineers, gaining exposure to cutting-edge technologies and industry best practices.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be a student in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any other related field and must maintain the student status during the internship
• Basic software development skills in Python or C/C++
• Basic hands-on experience with Linux (shells, scripts)
• Basic hands-on experience with source control systems, e.g. Git
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, Github Actions)
• Basic software development skills in Golang
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of video codecs, FFmpeg, GStreamer
• Knowledge of agile practices, e.g. Scrum
• Knowledge of software quality, testing or continuous delivery practices
• Familiar with TCP/IP network configuration
