The internship is limited in time with the intent to hire into a College Graduate/Technical Graduate position as appropriate. What we expect As a software engineering intern working in the web technology team, you will be responsible for developing software that runs on of Chromium based platforms and solutions. You will be involved in developing web applications that utilize new and emerging web APIs that enable exciting new experiences. A key component of a software engineering intern will involve partnering with other engineers to take ideas from concepts to fruition and refining requirements for the implementations and designs. Qualifications:

To succeed in this position, you will need: Excellent JavaScript/web app development skills and good familiarity with C/C++ languages. Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate at various levels of abstraction (concept to details). Good analytical skills. Results oriented and a self-starter with the ability to work well both independently and in a diverse team environment. The candidate must be pursuing a BS in Computer Science or any related field. Desired Experience: Prior knowledge of open source projects such as Chromium or WebKit. Good understanding of computer and middleware software architectures including graphics, software pipelines and hardware device interactions. Understanding of the software development process as whole and prior experience of software development in open source communities. Good knowledge and prior use of git version control tools. Prior contributions to open source projects.
