IT - Product Engineering is looking for a Software Engineer with specialization in Artificial Intelligence to help conceptualize and develop capabilities that is vital for Product Development at Intel. This is a technical position that will involve hands on development work along with defining technical milestones and conduct feasibility analysis using latest technological innovations (like AI/ML) specifically in field of Generative AI. Candidate will be responsible for primarily developing new capabilities and assists in maintaining existing ones while ensuring stable and scalable systems using advancements in AI.

In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:

• Design, develop, and implement software applications using various programming languages such as Java, Python, and JavaScript.

• Collaborate with software engineers and developers to facilitate application development with emphasis on new and emerging technologies such as GenAI.

• Develop front-end website architecture and back-end website applications.

• working with various iVE and DEG teams to understand the needs and define a clear problem statement.

• Ensure the responsiveness of applications.

• See through a project from conception to finished product, meeting technical and consumer needs.

• Design and develop APIs and ensure their smooth integration with various systems.

• Stay abreast of developments in AI and programming languages and apply this knowledge to the job.

• Test, troubleshoot, and improve the application's performance.

• Maintain code integrity and organization and ensure data security and protection.

• Understand and implement software development life cycle (SDLC) processes.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially
considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or
internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Minimum Qualifications:

The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, engineering or related field and 1+ years of experience -OR- a master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, engineering or related field and:

• 1+ years of experience designing, developing, testing software at application level with HTML, Javascript, CSS and other web technologies.

• 1+ years of experience building a solution for converting human-readable text to machine-readable UML diagrams using LLM

• 1+ year of hands-on experience with GIT, Jenkins or other DevOps tools

Preferred Qualification:

• 3+ years of general software engineering experience.

• Experience with building or integrating Generative AI solutions specially at enterprise level.

• Experience working with technology like PyTorch, NumPy, Scikit Learn, Force.com, Azure ML, Flask and training AI Models like RoBERTa and DistilBERT is a huge plus.

• Experience working with Vector Databases like Postgres and unit testing.

• Understanding of Intel Product Development Lifecycle along with HW/ FW/ SW.
