Job Description: 

SOC FW Solution Group which is responsible to deliver Intel’s CPU Power Management FW, is looking for a FW Simulation and Verification Engineer that is SW Engineer oriented.

The team is responsible for validating 100% of the operational code in pre-silicon environments on an in-house built simulator while modeling the surrounding HW environment in order to reach maximum coverage.

The team is responsible to build the needed simulators, model the HW (by means of SW, hence the need for SW Engineer), and write the tests for verifying FW flows correctness. In addition, the team is also responsible to build and maintain the group CI/CD environment.

The successful candidate will:

- Be part of a leading and innovative FW group which designs the FW for Intel next generation SOCs Power Management solutions.

- Work in the verification team and be responsible for verifying of operational code on in house pre-silicon environments.

- Be responsible for the creation of validation plans and associated methodologies, execution of validation plans in system or subsystem levels, as well as debugging failures in operational code, determine root causes of failures, and recommend or develop corrective action

- Define and shape the future of FW verification capabilities while developing and Implementing software based simulators and test infrastructure.

-Work hand in hand with Intel CPU HW architects to best simulate HW behavior.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

- B.Sc. in Computer / Electrical Engineering / Computer Science from a leading university.

- Experience of more than 5 years in C/C++ and/or Low-Level development

- Experience of more than 5 years in scripting languages such as Python

- Good writing and verbal communication skills in English

- Good interpersonal skills.

- Fast self-learning

- Previous background in HW blocks modeling
