Job Description: 

Data Center Packaging Engineering team is looking for a motivated Graduate summer intern with experience in machine learning and computer vision domains who can collaborate and contribute in exploration efforts to incorporate AI flow/approach to substrate design, physical fit/placement prediction and overall methodology that improve our design efficiency and/or quality. Subsequently, familiarity in this space along with literature survey and idea generation are highly preferred.  In this position the successful candidate will have opportunities to work within a highly focused team to learn, research and conduct tasks and experiments to help influence AI into our basic design methodology, practices and verification/validation that span across various stages of our Datacenter product package design flow.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Candidate must have a Bachelor's degree and currently pursuing a MS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with an emphasis on AI coursework or credentials.

1+ years of experience in following areas:

  • Machine Learning and Computer Vision, i.e., Generative Models, Image generation and Signal Processing
  • AI frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, Caffe)
  • Python and/or C++ languages
  • Data analysis, statistical methods, and algorithm evaluation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Computer Vision techniques such as object detection, recognition, tracking, and reconstruction
  • Knowledge of Generative Models
  • Knowledge of Machine Learning techniques

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, California:$63,000.00-$166,000.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
