In Q4 2023, Intel announced Altera® will be reported as a separate business unit beginning on January 1, 2024, with ongoing support from Intel. This position is associated to that standalone business strategy and is expected to fully transition to a standalone company at some time in the future.

Come intern with one of the largest electrical engineering companies in the world. You will work on some aspects of the Intel Quartus compile system. You will also conduct feature development, bug fixing, testing, and documentation. Other roles and responsibilities may include working on some of the most difficult and interesting algorithmic problems around.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, engineering science, computer science, math, electrical engineering or equivalent.

• 3 months experience or coursework in programming such as C, C++, or Python.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience or coursework in digital logic.

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
