Job Description: 

Architects, designs, and develops cloud native, distributed, modern application software. Designs and develops software that is built on micro service architecture design paradigms and best practices. Leads and implements both products and proof-of-concept efforts towards software solutions for Edge / cloud native user cases. Empowers NEX teams in their cloud native journey by designing and implementing common software services that can be leveraged across the board. Proritizes execution, with incremental optimizations, thus enabling early feedback from internal and external stakeholders. Makes design choices focused on manageability, simplicity, availability, and security for the systems and software. Able to work across timezones and demonstrates flexibility, team spirit.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications: - Atleat 5 years of industry expertise in development and architecture of cloud native software, based on microservices architecture. - Strong competence in cloud-native platforms including Kubernetes, Container orchestration, Docker etc - Proficient in Golang. Expertise in other programming languages such as C, C++, Python etc are welcome, combined with the desire to learn Golang. - Collaborative, with good interpersonal communication - Bachelors in Engineering with emphasis on Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar concentrations Preferred Qualifications: - Extensive working experience on cloud-native technologies - Experience designing and developing distributed software features and products in cloud native, common software use cases - Expertise in designing API and specification. - Exposure to compiler and code generation fundamentals will be an added plus. - Experience with scaling and performance workflow. - Masters or higher degree in sciences or engineering
