Job Description: 

  • Designs, develops, and optimizes orchestration software technologies for cloud, enterprise, edge, IoT, and telco.

  • Partners with Intel engineering teams, the open source community, and major customers to develop cloud orchestration, frameworks, and technologies used to deploy, run, optimize, and scale cloud software, including microservices, containers, orchestration, runtimes, virtualization, networking, storage, resource management, telemetry, observability, security, FaaS, and automation.

  • Drives new features design, implementation, performance optimization, and innovations in cloud orchestration and middleware frameworks, develops cloud open source and proprietary software, contributes in open source community work, and actively participates in the full software development cycle from concept to release.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or equivalent

  • Able to effectively communicate in English

  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and strong interpersonal skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • End-to-end understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including build automation, versioning control, code quality, release engineering

  • 4y+ Working experience with Docker, on-prem Kubernetes and general Linux containers

  • Experience with Linux Administration including relevant automation tooling like Ansible scripting (bash)

  • Experience with k8s monitoring, telemetry and observability

  • Experience with Cloud Native Storage frameworks

  • Good Python and Golang programming skills

  • Knowledge and experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins or Github Actions to design and create reliable releases of the software

  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems
