Insightly is looking for a top notch Senior Sales Engineer (SE) to join our energetic and world class team. SEs partner with sales teams to design creative solutions and deliver high impact demos to technical and non-technical audiences. This individual should be comfortable with configuring multi-products solutions and delivering high impact demos in a fast paced working environment. 

The senior SE is expected to understand and synthesize Insightly’s platform capabilities from technical, functional and business perspectives. SEs survey business requirements, assist in developing winning sales strategies, and deliver compelling solution demonstrations designed to communicate how Insightly will address customer business requirements using Insightly’s platform and technology. Successful candidates possess excellent technical and business skills.

The Senior SE is also a critical bridge between company departments including Customer Success, Product Management, Engineering and Marketing. The senior SE has the unique opportunity to help influence and shape overall product vision and roadmap strategy. As a senior SE you will also be expected to create scalable processes and documentation for both the Sales engineering team and the sales team as a whole.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Support new and existing strategic customers from the following technical perspective:
  • Working with the Insightly API
  • Working with or troubleshooting lightweight integrations on standard connector frameworks
  • Guiding the customer on best practices for their integration needs
  • Delivering sample and relevant code
  • Explaining and evaluating AWS infrastructure
  • Support Sales team in their sales campaigns by helping identify and quantify Insightly's value proposition and best solution
  • Demonstrate Insightly's solutions and capabilities as well as new features
  • Very comfortable in client facing environments and presentations
  • Support potential customers in their evaluation of Insightly's mobile and web app solutions
  • Configure custom software demonstrations (for external opportunities) to showcase specific capabilities
  • Create, document, and scale software demonstration process for use by internal team members

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years in a Sales Engineering role
  • Proficient in programming in javascript or similar scripting language
  • Knowledge of AWS Lambda platform a plus
  • Knowledge of Zapier, Workato and or other connector network platforms a plus
  • Experience in documenting sales and technical processes
  • Proficient in working with API technologies
  • Ability to easily develop relations with new people
  • Dynamic presenter, great communication and time management skills
  • Ability to quickly formulate a concise answer
  • Experience with CRM setup and user interface
  • Excellent understanding of web solutions
  • Advanced user of MS Office suite, Browsers, and Smartphones

The salary range for this role is $105,000 to $135,000 andFinal offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. The salary range may vary by geographic market and will be determined through the selection and assessment process for this role relative to your experience and our job qualifications. This position may also be/is also eligible for an annual performance-based variable compensation of $35,000 to $45,000. Insightly complies with applicable law regarding pay transparency.
