About the Role

Join one of the fastest growing teams at InMarket as a Big Data Platform Engineer, you will be joining the measurement team who provides solutions for premier clients like: Dunkin Donuts, HomeDepot and many others. You will develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to empower internal/external customers and solve business problems. You will work closely with data scientists to develop the models, work with data engineers for pipeline dependencies and ultimately implement into the codebase. You will work with large data sets, ETLs and our analytics platform to fuel report generation and drive growth.

Your daily Impact as a Big Data Platform Engineer - Measurement:

• Design and implementation of data driven initiatives such as Big Data analytics application development and architecture using Spark, Scala and GCP
• Be responsible for the End to End of the product - modeling, backend system design, implementation, AB testing, and rollout.
• Collaborating in a team environment across all functions, including but not limited to engineers, product managers, data scientists, operations.

Your Experience & Expertise:

• Background in SQL
• Strong coding skills in Scala, Python
• Experience with ML and Statistical concepts including trade offs of various types of models
• Experience with Spark.
• Cloud experience, AWS and/or GCP
• Experience dealing with hundreds of Terabytes of data 
• Experience with building and optimizing large scale and high-performance systems
• Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.
• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 3 years ML Engineer or Data Engineer experience
• Familiarity with the digital media / advertising industry is a plus
• Airflow experience is a plus

For candidates in California, Colorado, and New York City, the Targeted Base Salary Range for this role is $134,000 to 179,869. 

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, specialized skills and training, performance in role, business needs, and job requirements. Base salary is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
