- Role Title: QA Engineer
- Direct Report: Head of Quality Assurance
- Area: QA
- Location: Mexico City
The Opportunity
Responsibilities:
- Make sure Incode builds and designs high quality, scalable products, through a solid QA process
- Execute quality improvement testing and activities
- Create reports, documenting errors and issues for fixing
- Document and manage test plans and testing of our mobile and web applications
- Participating on product roadmaps
- Collaborating closely with other parts of the company
- Participate in building a world-class company
- Learn fast and improve skills
- Coaching junior team members and participation in the selection process
- QA process to align with the Agile 2-week sprint process followed by the development
- 2+ years experience as a test engineer
- Functional, regression
- Functional QA: To write and execute 100% of test cases within the same sprint
- Demonstrate test cases, tests completed for each sprint in different meetings – Test cases Review and Test Acceptance meeting respectively
- Identify defects, report them clearly in Azure DevOps (ADO) and track them to completion
- Report metrics precisely each week (maintained as part of Teams)
- Great verbal/written communication skills (in English)
- Motivated to learn and grow (This position exposes the candidate to all aspects of a successful product, from development through end-user adoption)
- Familiarity with relevant quality assurance industry-standard best practices and methodologies
- Experience with end-to-end testing process of software applications
- Experience with testing of web and mobile apps
- Experience with backend API testing
- Experience testing on an SDK
- Experience with both white box and black box testing
- Strong analytical skills, creative and critical thinking ability and problem-solving skills
