As a Full Stack, Staff Software Engineer, you will...
- Build APIs, Interfaces, Systems and Clients (UIs/CLIs) for various internal tools and products across Inari.
- Get involved and gain ownership in the full software development life cycle (design, build, deploy and support) of multiple full-stack applications
- Work with computational users and scientists to develop full stack applications. involving data exploration, real-time distributed processing and custom scalable software systems, enabling various core teams to make product impacting decisions.
- Contribute to the design and execution of Inari's engineering roadmap.
- Leverage your expertise to help build and support these software engineering initiatives at Inari:
- Distributed software systems in AWS
- Cloud-native development (micro-services, serverless, containers/Kubernetes)
- Building backend systems (API servers with Python or other prominent programming languages)
- Query Languages (SQLAlchemy/GraphQL)
- Building data storage systems (SQL/NoSQL databases, data lakes, s3)
- Building modern UIs for data-driven web applications
You bring…
- 5+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 of these areas: full stack application development, API development, ORM-based DB development, systems automation, web-based UI development
- 4+ years of advanced Python and/or Javascript development experience on production/commercial-grade web applications
- 2+ years developing production micro-services that access cloud storage securely and/or data layers through ORMs
- Strong communication skills, as this position involves working with remote team members/stakeholders/product owners
- Excitement to work cross functionally with engineers AND non-engineers!
Nice to have...
- Exposure to computational and database optimization, GraphQL, VueJS, distributed computing
- Writing high performance/scalable applications for visualization and/or data-oriented users
- Passion for pastries
