Your Role at Impact:

impact.com is hiring a Frontend Developer to work as part of the Frontend Enablement Team. The Frontend Enablement Team is dedicated to fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration among frontend engineers, empowering them to build exceptional user experiences. Our mission is to provide a robust support system that enhances the capabilities of frontend engineers by fostering a vibrant community, supporting upskilling, implementing and maintaining foundational tools, and developing standards. The Frontend Enablement Team works closely with UX design and product management to create alignment across these 3 related roles.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain and evolve UI Kits using framework agnostic and headless UI approaches, as well as Vue and React libraries: CSS, Web Components, headless components, Storybook, unit and visual testing.
  • Collaborate, support, train and empower other frontend developers to deliver high-quality, responsive, and interactive user interfaces.
  • Collaborate with designers, QA, product owners and backend engineers to work out approaches and workflows, driving collective success.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies.
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation.
  • Participate in the stack and technology updates and migrations.
  • Design and develop approaches, standards and tools for all the frontend teams across the company.

What You Have:

  • 1+ years of experience in frontend engineering.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience and willingness to foster the community among frontend engineers, share knowledge and support learning.
  • Experience and willingness to conduct workshops, upskilling and pair programming sessions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, modern frameworks (Vue or React preferred).
  • Strong understanding of Client-Server architecture.
  • Broad knowledge of Web APIs.
  • Experience with creating UI Kits (Storybook) and component-based application architecture.
  • Experience with CSS preprocessors, postprocessors and frameworks.
  • Experience with Git.
  • Experience with cross-browser development.
  • Experience with responsive web design.
