Senior Software Engineer

iLending is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Engineering team! We are looking for a full-time, career oriented individual who want to join a fun and energetic company.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*

* Design, build, and maintain solutions in the cloud for the organization
* Partner with architecture team in designing, and delivering solutions that adhere to standards, performance, security, and compliance
* Resolve complex business problems by analyzing and creating solutions based on industry best practices
* Manage entire software development life cycle including, planning, designing, developing, testing, and deploying applications in the cloud
* Coordinate with the IT team to ensure the applications are working properly and efficiently in the cloud environment
* Troubleshoot problems in the existing applications to identify and resolve issues
* Mentor junior developers
* Be the SME of the products the engineering organization owns
* Be available for production support and regular on-call services

*Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:*

* Overall 10+ years of experience in software engineering
* At least 5 years of experience as an Azure Cloud Developer
* Experience in working with Containers with usage of leading orchestration platforms (Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service)
* At least 5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer using React/Angular, .Net Core or other OOP languages
* Extensive experience in writing RESTful APIs in a microservices architecture

* Experience with at least one modern programming language (including but not limited to NodeJS, React, .Net, PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Python)
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Automation Tools approach using machine-readable definition files (BICEP)
* Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git and Azure DevOps
* Reasonable understanding of some aspect(s) of network stack and network protocols
* Understanding of major aspect(s) of computer security: network security, application security, security protocols, cryptography, etc.
* Experience in agile methodology, scrum framework
* Experience in one or more of the following Azure service categories:
* App Service including Web Apps, Mobile Apps, API Apps, or Logic Apps
* NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB)
* Relational databases – database architecture and design (MS SQL Server, Azure SQL DB PaaS Service)

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
