Description
The IBM Security QRadar SOAR platform is built to optimize security team's decision-making processes, improve security operations center (SOC) efficiency, and ensure incident response processes are met with an intelligent automation and orchestration solution.
Our team is part of the development group that develops, deploys, and operates the cloud, and on-prem form factors of the product.
The QA engineer will be responsible for assessing the quality of both new features being added to the product and existing functionality, and raising concerns when quality or usability issues are observed. This will be done via manual verification and the creation and maintenance of automation to validate the features. The QA engineer will need to work closely with the dev teams to understand the new features and to provide input into testing performed by these teams.
As a QA Engineer, the following are the responsibilities:

As a QA Engineer, the following are the responsibilities:
- Validate new features and bug fixes being delivered in the product.
- Proactively identify issues with the product.
- Advise management on the quality of releases.
- Work on creating automation for the features being tested, and implement in a CI/CD pipeline.
- Debug customer issues, reproducing in a lab if required.
- Work with core development to improve the product.
- Provide serviceability improvements on the product.
