Description
​​​​​​​As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring and managing OpenShift environments to support our applications and services. You will work closely with our development, operations, and security teams to ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of our systems. You will be able to identify the problem, resolve, follow-up and find the possible automated solutions to problems. Technical thought ownership is required. You should be able to provide advisory on large and / or complex projects to ensure success and client satisfaction while developing collaborative Solution Design on projects assigned or owned. Cross-knowledge sharing, and education of junior learning technical specialists is a must.
  • Design, deploy, and maintain OpenShift clusters in production and non-production environments.
  • Configure and optimize OpenShift infrastructure components such as nodes, pods, routes, and services.
  • Implement security best practices for OpenShift environments, including authentication, authorization, and network policies.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters to identify and resolve issues proactively; perform required security OS and Middleware patching.
  • Automate routine tasks and workflows using scripting languages and configuration management tools; perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and capacity planning for OpenShift environments.
  • Coach juniors in installing, configuring, and maintaining services on OpenShift.
