Data Analyst & Jr. Service Designer

In the dynamic role of Data Analyst & Jr. Service Designer for the IBM SkillsBuild program in Corporate Social Responsibility, you will harness your expertise in data analysis and process design to help the team create and deliver impactful learning experiences that provide accessible, high quality digital skills training to millions of learners around the world. Your primary responsibilities are to:

1)    Design and execute data gathering strategies that incorporate everything from learner feedback for vendor-delivered courses to learning progress surveys, and surveys across a wider learner demographic.
2)    Identify improvements and additions to surveys and focus groups to cover gaps in current learner feedback collection and learner progress measurement.
3)    Collaborate across functions to craft and refine service frameworks that meet the evolving needs of our global learners, and
4)    Generate detailed reports and actionable insights from multiple quantitative and qualitative data sources, assisting our team project manager to drive continuous improvement across the learning delivery, and informing our portfolio delivery leads to drive results and innovation.

You will work with our program team’s data leads to employ analytical storytelling methods to communicate complex insights in a compelling and understandable way to stakeholders across the organization. With your flexibility and adaptability, you will navigate the dynamic environment of the IBM SkillsBuild program team,
contributing significantly to the goal of skilling 30 million people by 2030.

The data analyst/service designer will:
•    Generate detailed reports and actionable insights from quantitative and qualitative data about learners.
•    Use advanced data storytelling skills to communicate insights.
•    Develop service frameworks and map processes to address specific needs across teams.
•    Conduct interviews and focus groups with stakeholders.
•    Facilitate workshops to promote collaboration and co-creation among multifunctional teams.
•    Document and organize workshop/service findings.
