Application Developer- Mainframe Modernization

Candidate will work hands-on with IBM z/OS assembly language and must have in-depth knowledge of assembly instructions, addressing modes, data manipulation techniques, and job control processing. Candidate will provide support with legacy code business rules extraction and code conversion. Candidate must have in-depth knowledge of legacy mainframe data formats (e.g., DB2, QSAM, VSAM) and experience with IBM mainframe architecture. Experience with IRS Individual Master File (IMF) or Business Master File (BMF) highly desirable. Candidate will work with tools including CA Endevor Software Change Manager (SCM) and BMC Control-M. Experience with Java code is preferred. Active IRS MBI Clearance High Desirable. US Citizen or Permanent Resident required.
