HP aspires to modernize print and scan experiences that empower users and deliver value beyond the printed page. HP plans to deliver new strategic solutions, services, and value-added offerings by building on the incredible market-leading strength we have across our business segments.

As the Office Print Data and Telemetry Product Manager, you will help chart the future direction, strategy, product definition, and platform investments for data and telemetry across HP's suite of office print hardware, software, solutions, and workflow experiences. You will help us ensure understanding of business performance and customer experience across a wide range of critical touchpoints.  You will bring deep customer and business, understanding, design thinking, business planning, cross-functional partnering, and pragmatic agile software background to optimize our data and telemetry product offering and make it future-ready and drive business growth.  You will also partner with other product managers and business leaders to align our scope of data with HP’s A.I. strategies and investments. Finally, you will help chart our office product direction relative to changing regulatory environments with data collection and privacy.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, iterate, and represent HP office print’s data and telemetry strategy and roadmap including investments in hardware/firmware, cloud, and client software touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, product managers, and other stakeholders to define, scope, and deliver data products and solutions that leverage data assets, analytics, and machine learning.
  • Manage the end-to-end data product lifecycle, from ideation, discovery, development, testing, launch, to iteration and improvement
  • Drive line logic and rationalize disparities across product segments to ensure appropriate business and customer understanding given complexities of office print personas and customers.
  • Own the backlog and constantly prioritize and clarify for our engineering, analytics, and insights partners.
  • Partner closely with HP’s data technical, privacy, and legal leadership for cohesive and comprehensive strategies
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for data products and solutions, and use data and feedback to inform product decisions and enhancements.
  • Evangelize and advocate for data-driven culture and best practices across the organization, and educate and empower users and stakeholders to leverage data products and solutions.
  • Monitor market and business trends, analyze competitors’ offerings, and solicit input from customers, partners, technical consultants, and sales teams to inform the future-ready data and telemetry touchpoints.
  • Facilitate data analysis and insight teams to hone the critical business questions and hypotheses.
  • Align roadmaps and investment profiles to achieve maximum, on-strategy results.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Marketing, Business, Engineering or related
  • 10 years minimum in product management, product marketing, appropriate technical background, or combination – specific emphasis on modern data product management
  • Previous experience in the print industry desired

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expertise in modern product management inclusive of agile at scale development, portfolios of products, data insights, and iterative product delivery.
  • Proven track record of delivering impactful data products and solutions that drive business value and customer satisfaction.
  • Strong knowledge of data engineering, data modeling, data quality, data governance, data visualization, data analysis, and machine learning.
  • Relentless passion for customer experience and advocacy for ease of use, quality, and reliability.
  • Experience integrating device/hardware requirements/roadmaps with software product requirement/roadmaps.
  • Experience with interconnected devices and cloud technologies including software capabilities.
  • Superior understanding of product design and current product management.
  • Excellent project management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to build partnerships across functions and execute in matrixed environments.
  • Proven credibility with experience design and engineering leaders.
  • Excellent communication skills catered to a wide variety of audiences; credible executive presence and external analyst/press-savvy experience.
  • Proven track record of mentoring less experienced product managers.
  • Strong leadership experience in ever-changing environments.
