Job Description:

We’re hiring a Fulfillment Technology Data & Reporting Analyst to help continuously improve operations decision-making by delivering metrics and reporting insights from our Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) data. This position will play an important role in helping several Hello fresh functional teams translate operational data in order to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.  To succeed in this role you’ll need to have a genuine interest in using and manipulating large data layers from diverse sources and systems, to help solve business challenges and ensure accurate and timely data is always available.

The position can have a hybrid working arrangement when responsibilities/ conditions support, but must be based in one of the following fulfillment center locations: Newark NJ, NYC HQ, Newnan GA, Irving TX, Phoenix AZ, Swedesboro NJ, Aurora CO. Travel to other facilities within the network is expected to be less than 10%. 

You will ...

• Build WMS/ fulfillment technology reporting solutions that will make decision-critical data available for data consumers - unlocking new business insights that shape the future of HelloFresh operations.
• Assess current process improvements in collaboration with the Business Technology team and business functional teams, helping the organization produce more value from the WMS application data we process and collect.
• Promote data literacy and enablement by upholding BI and reporting best practices to local functional Data Engineers, Data Scientists and other Data Analysts.
• Help train, educate, and partner with WMS functional and technology users to define and optimize data reporting solutions.
• Collaborate across various departments within HelloFresh to support decision-making and to answer key business issues
• Own and steward data sets &  flows, with continued adaptation to our growing Supply Chain
• Leverage data blending tools and techniques to provide reliable metrics and dashboards
• You will be utilizing various databases and querying/programming languages to access, manipulate and democratize the needed data

At a minimum, you have...

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience
• An eagerness, aptitude and appreciation to understand business context and requirements behind data sets, and how they can be leveraged to improve HelloFresh operations
• 1-2 years of professional analytical/reporting experience, specifically working within application or data product teams (e.g. analysts, data engineers, data scientists)
• Proficiency with SQL and database control skills (DDL, CTEs, views, and query optimization)
• Some prior experience with data engineering and visualization tools; direct experiences with AWS, Grafana, and / or Tableau a plus
• Familiarity with code management practices (git/git hub)
