Director of Operations Technology Job Description:

The Director of Operations Technology will oversee strategic and tactical leadership for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our facilities IT management across multiple locations, including IT infrastructure and end user IT support to meet the demands of our business operations. This role demands a proactive leader with extensive experience in managing complex IT environments, ensuring continuous infrastructure availability, IT support, and optimize overall performance. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical acumen, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a track record of delivering results in a 24x7 environment.

You will…

• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT infrastructure and support strategy ensuring 24x7 availability, reliability, and scalability across multiple locations.
• Lead a team of IT professionals responsible for network operations/admin, end user technical support and local server / VMware network management.
• Establish and maintain robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to proactively identify and address potential issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess technology requirements, evaluate emerging solutions, and implement best practices.
• Define and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and security protocols.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the performance and effectiveness of our IT infrastructure and operations.
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT organization.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with external vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
• Experienced in maintaining and troubleshooting Cisco networking in enterprise infrastructure environments.

You have…

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management with 3+ years previous Directors level experience .
• Prior experience overseeing multiple locations in a 24x7 operational setting is preferred.
• Extensive technical expertise in networking, server administration, cloud computing, virtualization, storage, and security technologies.
• Strong understanding of ITIL framework, incident management, change management, and IT service management (ITSM) principles and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, CISSP, CCNP, VMware, PMP) are highly desirable.
