Sofware QA Engineer

We are looking for a Software QA Engineer to join our team!

Right now, we need an engineer with ability to drive manual testing activities for our breakthrough IoT consumer products. We are looking for a motivated self-starter with a background in consumer software, and someone who strives to uphold the highest quality of reliability and performance in their products.
If you are a proactive, out-of-the-box thinker, curious, persistent, you don’t mind asking a tone of questions to make sure you understand how the product and application works, then you may be a good fit for us and you will love this job.

QA Engineer duties and responsibilities are:

• Be involved and participate in the overall application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Collaborate with QA team to develop test plans, document test cases and any other documentation that is critical for efficient testing
• Performing integration, performance, regression, exploratory and smoke testing
• Reporting bugs and testing fixes
• Ability to understand technical documentation and analyze log files
• Work closely with other team members and development team to coordinate software releases and test activities
• Provide help and support to other team members
• Stay up to date with new technology trends
• Participate in conferences and educational programs

 
Job requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in software quality assurance
• 1+ years of experience in testing mobile applications
• Experience with Jira, Confluence and TestRail
• Fluent in English, written and verbal
• Good communication skills
• High level of proactivity, creativity and perseverance

 
Any of the following is a big plus:

• Experience with API Testing (Postman, Swagger)
• Experience with embedded software testing
• Basic knowledge of IoT
• Technical education
