As a Frontend Engineer, you’ll work with a team of engineers through challenging development projects. Come join a highly collaborative team of skilled engineers with a passion for quality.

What You’ll do:

  • Work in an agile environment completing User Stories authored by professional Product Managers. Along with high fidelity comps and annotations by a team of in-house Designers
  • Collaborate on implementations with backend PHP & .NET team members (in addition to other Frontend Engineers) through projects in React, server side NodeJS, Socket.io, Angular & Smarty (maintenance) and jQuery (deprecation)
  • Work with QA and Application Support teams to triage bugs
  • Work with DevOps to automate build, deployment and distribution of SPAs and static assets
  • Consume Restful APIs, JSON payloads and various payload contexts
  • Build new Portals/Applications with React, while making incremental enhancements to monolithic legacy applications (server side rendered)
  • Write Unit tests and documentation.

What You Have:

  • 7+ years professional experience as an individual contributor Or 5+ years from a high growth start up that scaled to more than 10 engineering resources
  • Prior experience working with organized development teams. 
  • Experience on React & ES6 or pixel perfect HTML/CSS/JS w/UX, or both!
  • Experience with JavaScript ES6+, Typescript, SCSS
  • Understand branching, merging, pull requests and conflict resolution in Git (Bitbucket or GitHub)

What You Have (Desired skills):

  • Experience on React Hooks or Context
  • Full stack experience with PHP or Dot net Core
  • Prior experience building browser extensions
  • Vite or Next.js experience
  • WebRTC (Twilio implementation)
  • Experience on Unit testing (jest)
  • Experience implementing Web Socket’s with message queues (Socket.io preferred)
  • RabbitMQ and Redis implementation on NodeJS
  • NodeJS implementations on Azure Functions or VMs using Forever/PM2
  • Experience of working on a GraphQL
  • Experienced in leveraging issue tracking systems and wikis for documentation (Jira/Confluence)
  • Comfortable on CentOS Linux or MacOS, command line, SSH, SFTP, SCP…
  • Problem solving skills and a proactive work style
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
