The Client Platform Engineer will report to the Applications/Development & Integrations Manager and will have in scope the architecture and technical management of Group14’s endpoint management. They will work closely with the Support Center to establish endpoint standards, design and deploy device management tooling and policies, and develop operating procedures.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

-Collaborating with leaders and stakeholders on relevant business requirements, functionalities, and outcomes.

-Leading the design, build, deployment, and maintenance of Group14’s endpoints and management environments.

-Coordinating with Infosec and the Support Center on OS standards and versions, new

applications or policies, modifications to existing, patching and updating, etc.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

-Experience building device standards and management from the ground up.

-Familiarity with major MDM platforms, e.g., JAMF, Intune.

-Obsession with documentation and standardization.

-Readiness to provide support both IT team members and end users.

OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:

-Familiarity with Rapid 7 for vulnerability scanning, Crowdstrike for EDR.

-Working knowledge of managing *NIX endpoints.

-Experience with Okta’s endpoint capabilities, e.g., attestation, device SSO.

-Understanding of Azure AD’s functionality and benefits in managing Windows endpoints and infrastructure.

The annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000. All positions come with a company bonus and stock options. The actual base pay offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the position is located.
