Core Responsibilities

• Maintain a system that will be used by our bridal merchants and partners
• Test, automate, and instrument your code
• Developing fully functional and high-quality mobile applications by clean and efficient coding
• Researching, and suggesting new products, protocols and applications
• Ensuring that the new, as well as the legacy applications, follow all quality standards
• Collaborating with the product development teams for planning of new features in the mobile products
• Troubleshooting and debugging of applications so as to optimize their performance
• Writing unit and UI tests for identification of malfunctions
• Gathering the specific requirements/problems of the end users as well as suggesting suitable solutions for them
• Keep up with the latest industry and technology trends by regularly updating the applications
• Consult with other team members and implement solutions in-line with the departments’ visions.

Preferred Skills

• Proven past experience of working as a iOS Developer
• Extensive experience with App store release process
• Extensive experience of OOP design principles
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP
• Experience with mobile push notification architecture
• Ability to reference Apple HIG and iOS best practices
• Deep understanding of iOS security framework
• Deep understanding and proficiency in building mobile apps from scratch using at least one mobile language (Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C). Experience with multiple platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge on how to implement and manage RESTful API’s.
• Ability to work and perform well in a team environment
• An analytical mind with a problem solving attitude
• Ability to take quick decisions while working independently and be accountable for it

Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, including: 

• coding standards
• code reviews
• source control management
• build processes
• testing
• operations

Technical requirements: 

• Must have access to a wired internet connection
• Must have access to at least a 25 megabits per second (mbps) download and 20 mbps upload speed connection

The salary for this position is $90k to $130k. We are open to negotiating outside of this range if the desired salary aligns with the needs of the candidate and company.

This is a salaried position with no commission.
